Directory submission services - is there any sense?

I am talking about paying someone for directory submission,,,, you do this so that you get some backlinks and a good PR,,,, but these directories provide you such useless backlinks that Google will not even count them, hence no PR,traffic benefit ..... so you are not at all benefited by directory submission services

 

Directory Submission always worked for my all sites. but i am with 100% manually Directory Submission Service.

yes there are so many Directory Submission Service provider here.
but i am with my old and trustworthy friends whose submit my all sites in free directory with the cheapest rate. so i am also preferred you to used his service i already work with him since 2007.

Both are effective...
but manual submission is much better
but u can opt for both..
