I am about to launch my website Unique Descriptions , which does directory submissions using a unique description of 200-300 characters each time. Many webmasters and seo experts are all saying that you need a unique description each time you submit to a directory, and many directory owners are beginning to demand you write a unique description in order for your site to be accepted (repeat descriptions are rejected) Therefore I have seen a gap in the market (I have been submitting using unique descriptions for some time and over time found ways to speed it up). I would now like to announce that I am THE FIRST person on the internet to offer the service of Unique Description Directory Submission Obviously this service takes a lot of time, however I know people, especially those on DP are used to having dirt cheap directory submissions, using a limited number of description (read my site to see why this service is useless) This service will take around 30 hours work per 1000 directory submissions, I wanted to ask DP members what would they consider a good price to pay for such a service as I know if it's too expensive nobody will buy it, but at the same time I can't work for 30 hours for $200. However I do declare that this is THE ONLY way you should be submitting to directories (unless of course you write all your own descriptions and submit manually) Any ideas would be appreciated
What about working per 100 directory submissions? 1000 is a lot to deal with at a time it may even get Googles attention in the wrong way.
Yes, its a good idea for less submissions but because of the keyword research then its not viable really, Google's attention ? there is no penalty for submitting links too fast, this is a myth, those webmasters penalised used the same description for hundreds of links and thats what brings attention from google as the links are not seen as natural - if too many links to fast was bad then the net would not be functioning properly - what happens when a site comes to the fore and becomes a shaker and mover, eg milliondollarhomepage got tens of thousands of links within a few days , did it get penalised ? NO, it boomed why ? Because those links were natural - its easy for search engines to spot natural links - the description is unique because it has been written by someone linking to that site in a genuine way. So submission using a unique description means your links are seen as natural - and a genuine vote for your website.
Just wanted to add this quote from Site Pro News http://www.sitepronews.com/2008/01/29/the-ultimate-guide-to-directory-submissions-2/ Varying your description Many directories will provide you with your own page about your business. If you have the same description on every page across different directory websites then many of these will be seen as duplicate content by the search engines and your links will get devalued. To avoid this, write a unique and substantial description for every single directory (200+ characters works best). Make sure the descriptions accurately mirror your products and services and that they read well.
