    Hi All,

How is the business of directory submission service providers outside DP. People here at DP charge 5$ - 10$. But, out side DP it is b/w 15-25$
    like

    http://www.submitedge.com 15$ for 100subsmission
    http://www.inetzeal.com/ 30$ for 180submission
    http://seonext.com 14$ for 100 submission
    http://www.submit2please.com/ 20$ for 100 submission

I am asking about there business just because, I am also entering into this business and my price range would be something similar because below this is loss.

Thought, Suggestion are welcome and would be helpful.

Current our pricing is the highest - http://www.theseoworld.com/directories_submission.html because we dont try to be cheap sellers and offer quality, and you know quality comes with price and directory submissions does not get you 100% of the rankings , hence these are just a added services for our premium seo clients.

I don't think that lower price means lower quality.
The price depends on location also. Most of DP directory submitters come from Asia and few bucks per day is acceptable for daily expense. Eastern submitters can't live with that price :D .

It depends on the quality of the service you will provide. If you can provide superior service you can charge even more.

I can also surely vouch for Amit's services (I have used a couple of times). Regarding what makes it quality is, approval rates, submission to non spammy directories and proper detailed organized manual reports.

If a free directories submission is being done, always see the directories a submitter is submitting your directories too. There are tons of spammy/mfa directories, junk, pending approval directories.

Now if your site is submitted to such directories, well its of no use. :)

A good submission service would provide 4 things:

    1. A quality list of directories to submit to: directories that are free, live, on-topic for the website in question, and provide a good backlink.

    2. A full report of which directories were submitted to and the results, usually in the form of a spreadsheet.

    3. Submissions which conform with the guidelines of most directories. If you're getting less than a 40% acceptance rate there is either something very wrong with your website or the submission service is failing here.

    4. Either the submission service will write you several titles and descriptions, or will advise you on what is likely to be acceptable. Any service that lets you submit a description like "The leading widget websiet witht the best quality widggets in the hole internet! Free delivery! It rocks!" isn't worth its salt.

Generally speaking you will get lower prices on most anything webmaster related at these forums because you are dealing within the community itself.

all depends on the quality of the submissions.

i rather pay more and have it done by hand.

but thats just my 2 cents.

I can't speak for the quality or value of other directory submisison services.

But I own a manual directory submission service. It is not cheap. But it is done with quality directories, and done right. www.indra-net.com

    best,

Im the owner of nationsubmit.com, i probaly have some of the cheapest prices on the web outside of DP, even on DP i offer $3.5 for 100. Like it was said before i live in asia and the cost of living here is alot different then it would be in the UK or US.

Most likely you will get the same quality work from me then at a more costly site, Im not doing this work as a part time job its my full time job for nearly a year now so of course I work for quality over quanity.

If you are starting a business, nothing can be a loss unless you want to start up an marketing plan. To me i think like this any time im not working is lost money, id rather work for $3.5 per 100 submissions then not have any work at all. To increase your business you have to sometimes overload yourself with work in order to increase your reputation and revenue.

    Hello...

We as well will soon be doing much the same with all the same services as many others and then more ...

Your right its currently dirt cheap to do submissions with some but like they said "what you pay for is what you get".

Our prices will be competitive but it wont be free and we dont do $15 deals sorry :)

    thx
