directory submission question

    i m submitting my blogs to all the directories which i get from dp information.i m submiiting as free links.When can i expect to start seeing results about my growth of inbound links?

    Directory submissions are considered low quality links, they aren't relevant and easy to obtain. Generally it's not uncommon to see zero results from directory submissions.

    if directory links are not that valuable then why does every one insist on submitting to directories to get backlinks?
