    You'll probably have to drill into the major categories for the directories. Take a look under some of these and you might find a sub category for personal development...or something close.

    - Open the Google directory.
    - Type in your keywords
    - find similar sites to yours.
    http://www.google.com/search?q=personal+development&hl=en&cat=gwd%2FTop
    - check in which category they have been approved.
    - follow their example and submit in the same category.

    Most directories have a search option. I like to check in Google though, because it has the most categories and subcategories.
