Yes, but why waste your time submitting to directories when you can be creating content? Rich unique quality content is the "best" way to increase backlinks and Pagerank. Think about it, beyond any personal gains why would you link to a website? Probably because it was very useful or entertaining, providing content that is useful and entertaining will provoke more natural backlinks; which increases SEO weight and Pagerank.

Yes, no problem you can submit your site to PR 0 directory. I think you should do article submission also.

You can Submit to PR 0 or any PR if they are Quality Directories. If they are Quality Directories the PR will increase with Time and so your website if your link is accepted.

There is no problem submitting in PR0 directories, probably the directory is new and as time goes on with good promoting the directory might gain more PR. Then the home page PR does really matter but the page on which you link will be placed.

The more variety of links you have coming to your site, the better. Google can get suspicious if you only submit to high PR directories.

If you find yourself unable to write content and not wanting to blog or participate in forums then sure go ahead and submit to PR0 directories. At least you'll be working on your site.

I generally take about ten minutes a day to submit to the new directories on Digital Point. Most of the new listings are for directories with little or no PR. I don't find that to be a problem. Some of the directories will fail, others will succeed and will gain PR. So my (or your) taking the time to submit to PR0 directories will in some cases pay off nicely down the road.

As mentioned by various posters above, don't become a one-trick pony, doing only directory submissions. Also keep working on other aspects of SEO and writing new pages with good-quality content.

If the pages of directory cached by Google timely then their is no need to consider its PR.

Yes it is but submit your site to most relevant category and also it will be better to have a variation in Title or description of your site while submitting it to many directories.......also first focus on popular high PR directories to submit your site then you can go fo smaller ones.....

    My dear friend
There is nothing bad in submitting in directories with PR0 or PR1. SEO is not only a good content or article submission or social bookmarking or press release or blog submission.

SEO is the combination of all. Do everything thing to get backlink but never submit to paid directories. Always submit to free directories. Don't waste your money in any paid submission or link exchange.

    Cool mate

what is PR 0 today wil not be PR0 always. sometimes you will find a good deal submitting to low or zero PR sites which will pick up PR in the future. however, i personally dont submit to directories anymore as no one knows the future of it

There are many non-native english speakers here who would argue that point.

So its not waste of time to submit in PR0

It has little Value but mind that It has Some Value

Every Website Starts with PR0 and when ever its free to submit in PR0 you should take opportunity to submit in to it :)
