Hello, First of all, the background for the question: 2 weeks ago I payed for 3000 direcotries submission (the service provider is one of the forum members). That is the first time I'm using that service, I'm new to the SEO world. Yesterday I checked some of the directories list that he sent to me as a report. I found 1 (one) link out of 60 directories I checked. A week earlier, I checked it, I found 3 links out of ~50 directories I checked. (different directories each time) When I wrote him about it, he claimed it may take some time till the links appear. Somehow, I an not very happy from the result of that service. My question is, is that really possible that out of 3000 links only ~5% will actually appear? What do you think? Thank you. (To the forum managers, if that is not the right forum for that question, please move it to one that is, thank you)
Cherokee, Yes, it does take time for directories to review your submission & accept it. Give it a month & you should see better results. Some directories are known to take 5-6 months. If you want to check if it is actually submitted, submit it again & the directory won't accept it if it is already submitted.
yes i Thinks This Directory Submission Service is useless for you. Although it' takes some Time To be Approval for site may be 5 to 10 days or as per directory rules. but you should have the Approval Ratio Between 65 to 75% so i Be lived in Quality not Quantity so i recommended you used this Directory Submission Service i already used this service since 2007 and this service is very awesome and give's good number of approval ratio. - seofriendlydirectory4u.com/submition.php
Everything depends on directory owners. Some owners may review new submissions every day, while some others may do it once per month (and some other sites may be left to die...) However, number of successful submissions should be greater than 5%. If it's about 5%, you use really wrong directories.
