If you want to get listed in DMOZ, submit now and maybe you'll get accepted in 6 months. One of the tips I use with directory submissions is to go into Yahoo Site Explorer and sort my links on my established sites. If I actually have a directory link in the top 20 (which is rare), I will submit my newer sites to those directories that are passing juice.

Beside submitting your link to free no reciprocal directories, alternately you can make html page especially to list all of reciprocal links, say you name it directories.htm. Put your directories.htm file on your server. So, you just need to put one link in your site.

    HI

There are many thousands of directories online and it impossible to submit to all of them manually, that is why i use semi-auto software that helps me submit to hundreds in less then an hour.. so over a few days or a week I can have my sites submitted to most of the directories... mostly free ones.

There are many different types of directory submission tools online so I recommend you try them all until you find the one you like, I personally use about 3-4 different ones.

    Thx
    Tom

    Tom,

Do you have a list of the directory submission tools you use?

    Thanks,

I would first start with the higher rank directories first. Even if you would have to pay. Yahoo, botw, joeant and so on. This will give you the best imput to your rank, then try do get as many free as possible.

do a search for "Add URL" and you will find various websites & directories where you can list your website... If you want to find niche sites I would add your industry niche keyword before "add URL" and you should find various directories within that niche where you can add your website..
