Those are good web directories to submit to. (leave out whatUseek)

I'd also suggest to submit to a few smaller web directories:

    dirspace.com
    octopedia.com
    socengine.com
    wowdirectory.com
    platinax.co.uk/directory
    thisisouryear.com
    abilogic.com
    sporge.com
    massivelinks.com

I quit liking the Yahoo directory when they started using redirects. The only way I would consider adding my link to it now is if I am aiming to become a household name like Coke, Ford, or Northwest Airlines.

I think the information you need before you submit is whether or not it's been worthwhile for other, similar sites listed in your categories. I got a free listing from Yahoo that sends me about one visitor a year, I think. So the category is all-important.

Maybe 900$ spend in directory submissions and buying links on related sites PR4-Pr7 will be more helpfull just my opinion .

WhatUSeek I don't think has any PR anymore. Otherwise, a nice list. I'd suggest Alive Directory and Octopedia as well. :)

You shouldn't buy them all at once, buy one high quality each month instead(natural stagnation).

    Very good suggestion.

If your going to submit to ABilogic, submit to Abifind too. Then get a bazillion new directories in between the hard hitting directories.

    start with mine.:D :D

if they're using redirects seems like its not much point. I read in another forum that you tend to get quite a few more visitors when your added though, where people are actually using the yahoo directory. Also does it perhaps improve your ranking in yahoo results?

    Good point i'll do that!
