    Just a smalll questions.

Is it best to submit different pages of my website to directories or just submitting the root domain.

Because sometimes the website can have information relating to another catergory on a directory.

Most of the directories don't allow deep links (linking to internal pages) anyway so what's your dilemma here? :D
Try to submit your site to the most relevant category that will greatly increase the chances of being approved.

I would send the main url to directories and try to find some other way to build inner pages linking (articles...).

"Because sometimes the website can have information relating to another category on a directory."

So true. In the two niches I work in, it is quite common for sites to fit in two or more very different categories. Unfortunately, not all directories allow for that. Those that do, will often say so in their terms of service. It's a shame more directory owners have not seen this for the opportunity that it is to build their resource. For example, if a site has information on both cats and dogs; why not list it in both with different descriptions?

My policy is that sites can be listed in up to three different categories as long as each listing has a description specific to that category and the topic is on their main navigational menu - i.e. one lone article on dogs would not qualify a site for inclusion in the dogs category.

Whenever you find a directory that allows inner page submission, you should take advantage of the opportunity. Don't you want people to visit the other pages of your site too?

    Hi, :)
This is very important question. Well the root page is the master page of other sub pages. If your root page have proper navigation with proper anchor text to other sub pages and also root page have enough text inside to clarify other pages then submission of root page is just OK but its better if you use different anchor text when submitting links and repeat all stuff(keywords related to other sub pages) in links,,meta tags and text content on root page. But still submitting sub page is a good thing because all pages have different content inside and different meta tags like keywords, description and title etc . If you want to improve your PR quick then submitting deep links is a good way to get PR updated soon .

Submit your inner pages if directory allows inner pages. Many directories also let you submit main page with 1 or more inner page with anchor text.

submit your "root" page to directories. Most if them hate when see "deep links" (internal pages) submitted, and they will not approve your submission in the most cases.

And if you want to submit your deep links... find "deep links directories" .. that's why thy were created, but most of them are paid ones.
