Is there a bot that can submit a website to a list of directories like DMOZ, Yahoo or even eggdir.com.

    Regards.

Of course but it will get you nothing but banned from most directories.

Your IP and anything else will be blocked to keep you out if you use this approach to submit.

I visited your directory though because i know thats what you wanted, lol :)

Askin a question about a scam technique (auto submission bots) in order to attract visitors to your new directory is probably not the best idea.

yep... And, It would be better to do manual directory submission instead of using any automated directory submission tool. I also believe that it's not worth to submit a website in hundreds of directory so just go with top most directories.

I prefer to use http://www.easysubmits.com since the other don't work as good and you need to have something else for tracking.

What's happen if I submit my site to 500 directories in 1 day?

    Is it bad?

Probably not bad since it's not that many links (even if listed in all which IS NOT going to happen), and it will take some time for many of those free directories to review you. Many free directories have large queues of sites awaiting review so they may take a few weeks (or even months in some cases) to be reviewed. And many free directories are poorly run and your site may never get reviewed. And it's possible that some will review your site and reject it due to quality, or due to the fact they really don't want directory submissions at all but your email address instead. And it's possible some of the directories that approve your submission will disappear within a few weeks or months.

Sorry for my pessimistic view of things.

you should submit your site on directories manually. Any submission software will be spam your website and also bloc your IP. so do manual and get perfect result.

proceed with both only if you want your site(s) to be considered as spam.

Why not do things the right way? Most bots anyway submit to phpld directories only and can't make any progress if they come across a non phpld script.
