    Hello,

    I directoy submision I don't think it will really help you in link building...as for bookmarking it all depends if you have a dofollow link instead a no-follow. But, nowadays, most social boormarking site have no-follow links.

    directory submission help you to get backlink and traffic .But dofollow-article-directories can help you more then dofollow-web-directories . social bookmarking depend on your Social value

    Directory submissions are still considered as one of the legit and best method for slow link building. These backlinks are more natural and indexed slowly to make it look better in the eyes of google. Social bookmarking is always told to be a great method for quick link building and traffic.

    I find most directories are waste of time and never see any traffic. I like Stumbleupon.com for traffic it shows up in my stats.when I study other websites backlinks with lot of links I notice these sites showing up and these are the ones I target meetup.com, hubpages.com, Squidoo.com, Linkedin.com, imgur.com leave comments on the images. and forum sites most sites with profiles or bio's you can ad links. here is my list of directors i like Yelp is hard they ghost you ad sometimes. Reviews and Directories poshlisings.com, Rateitall.com, Epinions.com, pricegrabber.com, Google shopping Yelp.com, Citysearch.com, Insiderpages.com, Merchantcircle.com, Local yahooYellowpages.com, Yellowbook.com, Yellowpages AolSwitchboard.com, Superpages.com411.com, Dexknows.com, Yellow.com, Manta.com, Kudzu.com, Bing.com, Superads.com

    It is as simple as it creates a backlink to your site if you are accepted onto the directory submission list or if you are passed about and noticed on social bookmarking site. Simples
