I am submitting some blogs and sites to directories. I noticed that when I submit a blog, some directories can not read the entry for the reciprocal link which is placed in one of the blog posts. I tried also placing the reciprocal link at the footer of the blog but still, reciprocal link can not be found. Blogs are on the Blogger platform. Is the problem on the side of the directory or on the blog?
Who knows, without more details? First, view source and check that the link is exactly the same as the link they ask you to post, without any javascript, nofollow, or other stuff. Then find out whether the link you post is on a page spidered by Google, and that it has pagerank. It's just possible that they may be checking for this. Then, tell us which directories have this problem. It's most likely them and not you, but nobody can fix errors they don't know about.
Don't bother with reciprocals just submit to the ones that are free without reciprocal one way links are more poerfull then reciprocals (expecialy with an unrelated site)
