Directory Spanner on the lose

But I wonder how long before the errors show up in their log files and new pages are uploaded.

 

Hey folks - for all of you that are getting your directories (or contact forms) spammed, why don't you institute an image verification technique. They are easy enough to do, and they wouldn't be able to automate the entry?

Just wondering...

Stop bashing on unnecessary things, he said that the IP was of an indian, and you cannot directly say that he was blaming every indian

 

90% of the spam our sites get is porno coming out of Israel -- some of it the most perverse garbage I've ever encountered -- fake phone numbers, phony addresses, the works. Many of the contacts trace back to known listwashers and/or spammers who've operated out of Tel-Aviv for years.

 

Those of you with phpld directories should read this and patch your directories ASAP.

it is not that indians are spammers, but most of people who r doing dir sub are indians so u may get few spam links from Ip range.
