Directory spammer? or directory moron?

Seen it all before sadly, the Plonker is no doubt using software to send as your add a site is simply a mail address. correct? I had a a little form knocked up specifically for submitting sites and it has a captcha script installed to prevent people from spamming unless they are really sad and bored! You might want to get one of these?

I'll keep an eye out for this poster and blacklist him as a reward for all his hard work, plus if he wants I'll give him some fluoxetine to give him a new lease of life, perhaps he'll stop doing silly things then

 

Thanks Jim, highly appreciated. I've checked my directory to see if I have listed some seems I haven't (although at least 20 sites were submitted).
But I've found other IPs used by

59.95.8.136

And another one used by
125.18.50.158

 

No, not an email address. Sites have to be submitted via a form. It appears they were being submitted manually by a person or persons in India who had been hired by the site owner for directory submissions. Captcha wouldn't have helped in this case.

Could be an interesting idea. Get a nice list going and then directory owners could check their directories for IPs that appear on the "spam" list and delete them.

 

Great.. I should get a software to submit sites for me. I don't have time to submit my site into 10.000 directories manually.
