We were forced to suspend your accounts on houston because they were causing the server to nearly crash (60+ load) It doesnt matter to us the "cost".... its the uninterrupted service that we seek. Ive been in communication with them and will be getting our own server shortly that will be essential for all the bandwidth we will be chewing up when biz-giant goes live and with all the Video uploads that will be happening so.. thx malcolm
Good to see directories are doing good in the market. Really happy to see all the positive posts here Congrats to the owner & the buyer of that site.
when i get a new site , the first thing i do is always submit to directories .They definitely do help get a site off the ground. The bid was made when the site was still pr7 and was higher than $10,000 .Dr.fuzzy bid $10,000 , i think bin was $25,000 .I was watching it too
Seems that the positive aspects of directories are being evaluated correctly This sale is very encouraging news for the Directory Market
Thats really gr8 news. Its really encouraging directory owners to work more effectively on their directories. Congrats to both buyer & seller.
nahhh its money in the bank... Heck i just chatted with a guy that spent $20,000 for just a domain... smartlipo.com Value is what the "buyer" determines it to be thx malcolm
That directory has more unique content on its pages than probably any other directory I have ever seen.. That makes it so much better than just the link bed approach I see on other directories.. Plus it appears that all the sites it links out to are also full of high quality unique content. Boulder
This is great for the directory industry...it also shows that well maintained directories really can be profitable and worth the work.
I have paid more than $20,000 for a domain in the past and yes only the buyer can determine the 'worth' of a website. Also some people can run websites better than others ,takes a certain skill to make some profitable.
If you own a site and cant refer clients to your business then you really spinning on the web... The same goes for SEO... if they cant find it within the first 10-30 max then you not existing and losing revenue if not then your only other option is to hire an seo firm to get you thier but that money you spent will still go towards directory links and other link building techniques you could have done. thx malcolm
