Directory scripts offering Deep links as default

Phpld doesn't offer YET Deep links as default. If you want deep links for you site you have to pay $ 100 to a certain guy wich doesnt even give you the code or you can get it for free from another guy that at least give you the code..

In the first case you will for ever be dependent to that guy for every
variation or update you will have to do to your script, Is a nice guy so in a way in a good thing if you like deep relatioships with guys.

With the free deep links you will not have such a nice relation with this guy but you will have the code and so more people can help you if you need help.

In both cases, after you add the deep links mod you will not be able to update the phpld script easily anymore so I'm looking for other directory scripts offering deep links as default.

directories like Webotopia, Abilogic and Webexperience have deep links, do anybody knows the name of their script.

    thanks in advance

with esyndicat it takes two minutes to implement the deeplinks mod and doesn't involve too much editing.
phpld won't probably add this mod by default but I think they will add the "additional fields" functionality which will make it also easy to implement that mod.

Indexscript have said that they will be including Deep Links as standard in a future release, which im pleased about, already using the script on 3 directories.

I think its also under consideration to be standard at phplynx too.

Oh no, not another of those threads :( (I clicked expecting a useful discourse), but it's the same old whinging, finger-pointing stuff. I felt compelled to give the op red rep for wasting my time and initiating a thread which can only trawl over the same conversation which we've already seen too much of.

    !BAH! to deep links...

End of story, no questions asked... I would install it on a directory that is like a side project, but not on a business directory you put money into...talk about being flooded with links :p

why did you post then? What are you afraid of?

Please don't tell me. I'm not interested in your problems.

Ask yourself. Ask a Psycologist, Why are you posting ? Why dedicating your life to things you are not interested in?

Why don't you start a thread togheter with "ask" and "jminscoe" and talk about your greatness.

In your thread title, you are asking for "help" to find other directory script that offer deep links by default.

In your post, you are discussing free & paid deep link mod for phpld.

Seriously speaking, What is wrong with you ??

Maybe there is an anti phpld lobby at work doing a really poor job of swaying people.

    thanks for your useful informations.

do you know the name of the script used by webotopia?

I apologize for the post of those folks that are trying to hijack this thread. They have been doing the same thing every time there is a post about deep links.

If you would have opened with just the above, you might have received a better response. Offering your opinions regarding the pricing/support/upgrades related to a mod for a particular script only invites the responses you've received.

If you're seriously interested you might try contacting Cristian Mezei about Webotopia and Webxperience and deleon about AbiLogic

    Creed,

    thanks for your information.

    Ps

I don't think I said anything untrue or atrocious inside my post.

So why are they trying to intimidate me? What they want to hide.

Do they get Payola from somebody in doing so?

I think if I'm right phpLynx have deep link mods as well as the ability to add your link to multiple categories at the same time of listing, you'd best ask them though at thier forum.

The one thing I did notice about it is that it gives you the ability via the admin the ability to add any number of deeplinks from 1 - 1,0000000000000, and even allows you to submit to multiple categories on same submission, again unlimited. Check it out by going to the url above and submitting to the bronze package, that pretty much explains it.

    Hope that helps.
