Directory scripts let you pay per directory made with their script?

    I cannot decide if i should use PHP LD or Esyndicate PRO... I read good things about both of them.
    What if someone wants to make 5 directories, they need to pay for all 5 to use the script ?
    I want a script where i need to pay one fee and use it on as many domains and directories as i want too.

    Any advice?

    I bought the Esyndicat pro with unlimited license. So I can put it on as many sites as I want and I would recommend the same for you. Its $149 for that btw.

    I dont believe they have an unlimited license

    PHPLD sells one license per one domain. However, many people own several directories and I'm sure David would cut you a deal if you needed several licenses. Just ask him over at the PHPLD forums. He is really nice guy.

    I've found people almost always make their money back on their license fees. Granting an unlimited license makes it very difficult to track purchases, as well as domain ownership as it relates to to the unlimited license. By keeping a consistent per license price, we are able to insure the script continues to improve over time, and as a result we have lots of repeat customers that are very satisfied with the script.
