I havent seen a directory script that uses that structure. Most of the scripts will import your categories and links.

I suspect most of the directory scripts will follow the first two naming conventions with no problems.

The details/listing page URLs may differ between the various directory scripts and may give you some problems.

Many of them do not simply use the link/title text for the file name - off the top of my head I don't know of any that don't add at minimum the database record number. Someone else can correct me on that. I know for sure EsyndiCat (all versions) and phpLynx (free version - paid isn't out yet) use the record numbers.

Personally, I would not want to tie a details page to a particular category in case as your directory grows and you may move the listing to a new category and end up creating a situation where the search engines (and maybe a few bookmarks) are pointing to a non-existant page and any PR is also lost as the moved page is treated as totally new content. (gee, could that sentence be any longer?)

Took a quick look at the details page you linked to; that Upgrade thing you do may prove to be the biggest challenge.

How about doing some 301 redirects?
The pagerank should transfer quickly that way.
