Directory Script W/O a Database?

Is there a PHP directory script out there that doesn't require a database of any kind? A script that inputs the data into a text file or something. Free or paid, it doesn't matter. Any recommendations would be awesome, thanks.

Can I ask why? That seems like it would be horribly inefficient.

I recommend you get a cheap hosting service and learn how to set up a database. Using flat files is a terrible method of storing information.

True, it would be very inefficient to use it for a dir.
These days hosting(w/databse) is not very expensive you can easily get a good deal for 3-4/mo.
