    I own and maintain a regional (statewide) business search directory for about the last 6 1/2 years and am looking to make a switch from my existing cgi/perl script.

    I'm looking for a business directory script that can handle importing of tens of thousands of records, business listings and categories/sub-categories simultaneously, via CSV file (records containing, both, listings with websites and non-websites), offer additional customized fields (coupons, job opening listings), SEO-friendly URLs and user-friendly templates, robust admin capabilities, etc....

    What would you suggest?

    So it is! Sorry about that, typed in wrong answer but you were like a coiled cobra with your reply so didn't give me a chance to edit b4 you posted. Your fingers must be killing you at that speed!? Not a bad script btw, and a very handy link, gives me ideas on how to price mine. Your right, its nowhere near free! Sorry for the unecessary plug.
