    I haven't installed it yet but a quick look through the code and I'm impressed.

    OPENLD_ROOT

    It would be great though to separate the pages that get called from the includes so that I can have all the pages people can't actually call stored below webroot. I find this more secure even if the upload is a bit fiddly to explain to newbies.

    I wouldn't reccommend you to upgrade an OpenLD 1.0 directory to this version, since it have a different database structure. Wait until the final version is released and there will be an upgrade script.

    It would be nice to have side-by-side comparisons of your script along with other scripts such as phpLD, site-sift and others.

    Hmm.. it will be considered, but I'm sure that no such thing will be implemented in the current development version. But thanks for your opinion.

    And the first release candidate has now been released. Lots of bugs have been fixed.

    j4t, there's no upgrade script yet but I consider to start making one :)
