Directory Scams (I was scamed by www.linkterritory.com) - Until When?

I trust all DP members, and I have high respect to their admins as they work hard to maintain high quality forum.

However, I was scammed couple of times with couple of directories. I found under a user signature a link to linkterritory.com

I went to that directory and submitted a link and there is no way to get my high quality programming website added to his site. It has been two weeks of sending emails to linkterritory.com admins and all his replies are lies!

My question: Do you know more scams? I want to know so I do not get stuck again.

linkterritory.com admin is very rude person and very uncooperative, he wants money and he does not want to add my link. My link was approved by DMOZ, but not by linkterritory.com!!

Please, let us share our directory scams, so we reduce it.

Dont you people think he has a physical live ? yes i do have and what about you all who are blaming that guy ?

 

Can you please show us ur url, if not accepting your site he/she must refund, else you can open paypal case if not refunding.
But i am sure if your directory rejects u will get ur refund.

Please try to contact the owner. I guess it was a mistake and surely you can get refund if not approved.

I think before crying scam, my old bones have taught me there is always 2 sides to a story.

hey guys I just found this thread............hehe, its funny to think that people were actually discussing me and I did not know.

Well to clear things up, the person who is complaining here has harrassed me and my directory by starting numerous threads like this one where they are bashing my site, they have also made comments on anything that has to do with link territory on the web. Although, to be honest, it has created more income for myself. I think all the publicity has caused more people to submit links!

Anyways, I have approved their link and now I am going to delete the link and issue a refund due to finding this thread.

Sometimes, on occasion I get behind on approving links, but at most you will only wait 1 week. Most links show up within hours.
