Yes you are right but I just want to know what is the usual time period to review directories. Because if I will do 100 directory submission than its not possible to review all the directories by different time period. Then when should I do review for all of them within 15 days, 1 month or more??
As pipes said it is different for every directory. You seem to be talking about free directories so if that is the case expect the kind of results and service you usually get for free and you won't be disappointed.
Can u please elaborate some more about what is it exactly that you're trying to achieve by "review the directories for a site"?
Most paid directories often review submissions within 48 hours. For free directories review time depends on a lot of factors including directory's PR and how many lists it is included in.
Most quality paid directories guarantee submission within 24 hours but normally have your website reviewed within a few hours of submission. Free directories very too greatly to really give you a norm.
Our official review time is done within 48 hours but we normally do it within 24 hours after receiving payment. Free submissions can take several months and we have even disabled the option.
Obviously it greatly varies from directory to directory. If you're asking for DMOZ, be prepared to wait a lot. Paid or reciprocal links get approved much faster...
According to my experiences the administrators of directories in the top most case are very lazy, so the time can be very long until the accepting.
You couldn't have been more correct. Giving free review of links is not fun at all. Editors need to be rewarded for the work they do. And the directory administrator needs to get money for promotion and to maintain his/her hosting account.
So explain me why should I pay, what is my benefit in to get a paid listing. Traffic from your directory?, improvement in the serps?
