As directory owners, when your refunding a site owner for a listing rejection will it cost you anything at all? and does it take long?

It takes 2 to 3 minutes and if you use PayPal you can refund 100%

If there's no currency conversion involved, no.

If there's currency conversion, the buyer could stand to lose or gain. I lost 56p because it took someone 7 days to issue a refund. I've also just lost a penny from a refund that was issued within an hour :(

Ouch, then I better be careful. I could lose some, or gain some.

It wont cost you anything, if you click details of that transaction and click refund it wont cost you anything, but if you send the money manually then it will cost you.

I don't believe it costs anything to send funds? It might cost the recipient depending on the type of account they have.

CReed - He means, if you send the money back you don't get back the fee from the money coming in the first place.

Sure you do. If you process a refund, the fee is credited back as well. We process refunds regularly. ;)

I know costs nothing to refund, but some do a refund as a Send Money payment, and once they send it of course person recieving will be charged the processing fee

    Misunderstanding..

If you don't refund, but instead use the "Send Money" page, you won't get the original fee to yourself back. So sending the funds that way you would lose money.

IE: You receive $50. $1 is taken in a fee. You send $50 instead of refund. You don't get the $1 back. That's why you should always refund, and not send money back.
