I searched for PR5 directory on Google

I was surprised to see my site at first position in Google

keyword PR5 directory or PR5 directories

Google postion 1

I think my directory should not be at the top of Google for those keywords

Actually the pegasus directory should be there

As [generally!] the regular users won't ever search for "Genuine Paid Directory", for "a popular internet directory" and so on, let's discuss the problem a little bit different...

As you all are web directory owners, let's see your Google.com position in case of search for "web directory".

 

Why would they not search for those phrase, it shows on my stat so it's obvious they do type those phrases.

It is possible that some surfers search for "free web site directory", but not for "wwws". For "wwws" will search someone who already heard/read about your site.

 

Wrong! That has always been my #1 keywords, no other kewords bring more to my site than wwws
