There is one common theme in that list and it is if you have the word Bidding as directory type your PR = 0

time to change the name and look of these if you plan to survive and need to rely on google.

think G is making a major change in PR benchmarks.... or it is just a temporary change.

Many major directories PR are dropping drastically from PR6 to PR4

My guess is all the directories that recently took a hit from Google are getting a double whammy.

But when all the changes has happened ? Anybody have any idea ?

Well, this is all about directory, what about websites.... I am not seeing any PR changes for any of my website or blog... I have one directory, but that's new and still has PR 0.

latest reports seem to indicate that its not just directories that got PR reduced....

but let's not jump to conclusions too quickly. It cld just be a shift in standards

    Absolutely you are right

they are playing games with web sites.

If i am not mistaken if pr updates happen then it should happen to all the pages of a web site.

Till know they are only updating the pages whom they had given a pr before.

They are not giving new page rank to the pages tht have been included

Wait a min guys, please don't conclude its only for directories. I have almost visited more than 50+ sites and all have a PR drop.

I conclude PR is dropping for all and its slowly happening for everytype of sites too. I see drop in, Seo Services sites, blog, general sites, forums, directories and a lot more....

Please don't generate another myth that "ONLY DIRECTORIES" are having a PR drop.

I think you are right. If you look at the Google section, the same conversation is going on there as well....looks like all kinds of sites too. Who knows what G is up to.
