    Hello,

I would like a list of directories (free and/or paid) that are operated from major US cities (Philly, NYC, San Francisco, Phoenix, Houston, Boston, LA etc)

I am also interested in building a "network partnership" of 3 or 4 directories in the US. The partnership would aim at creating a "directory traingle/square" so both quality and regional sites can be listed in all the three/four directories.

    1)The directory must be US-based/operated.
    2) The directory must have unique design. No publicly templates!
    3) Should NOT have links to casino, gambling, adult websites.
    4) Should not "sell" links. However, it may charge a fee for site review before inclusion.
    5) Must adhere to its own guidelines and must not accept all sites submitted just to broaden its database!

Contact LinKernel Web Directory if interested!

    Regards

tbh I cant believe you request so many requirements for other directories when you accept reciprocal links
surely much more damaging than any of your requirements?

thanks for your post. as far as reciprocal links are concerned, LinKernel accepts reciprocal only for "related websites"; this is not an endorsement but to recognize another website in our niche category and this aims at improving the web directory industry. i personally do not believe that rec links lead to traffic and thats not the point either. we follow some strict guidelines because we have a GOAL: "listing content-based quality websites" ONLY. This policy may reduce submission rates but will not "damage" our directory or its quality. Many directories do not even have a policy they adhere to, some have rules they themselves dont abide by while approving websites. LinKernel is a directory of "quality websites" and a partnership with us has to be based on some guidelines. thats where the requirements come from...;)
