BTW, someone posted some webhosting related post and link, which I had to remove. A clarification: There is a restriction that you can't post sites other than any directory related ones.

Maybe it good that just need the email confirmation to get the directory released.

I tested creating a new login now. I got mail withing seconds

 

If anyone didn't get confirmation, do let me know, you can reset password directly by giving username and email and get a new password at the 'lost password' option.

 

Tried the lost password, still no email.
Check to make sure your email function is working properly.

 

No question that it is working - I got the password in less than 2 minutes. Are you certain the email is not being blocked by your ISP at some level?

You are welcome, I was out of action for a while, there is some problem with my broadband connection.

 

Its a good idea, but with some minor flaw.

Imagine everyone logging into the site to write about their directory. Great! you just wrote yourself up. However, the downside is that it's going to look exactly like the other 20,200,2000 other directories using the same 25 free some odd templates that are floating around, thus making it look like a merry-go-round' of posts.

how about segragating it on a template type of posting?
