Directory owners! Post no of visitors to your directory!

I think nos of visitor also depends on type of directory. I mean a free directory with pr4 will a get lots of visitors then a PR4 paid directory.

But it can be used to check between paid and free directories and it can be used to decide whether purchasing a link on siet is good or not!

no of probable visitors =1485/6 = 245!


Smub whether you have less than 250 visitors on any day?



I am in a fix as whether to divide it by 6 as in some cases it gives exact no of visitors and its popularity!

It simply indicates the popularity of the website by no of back links!

I don't have much visitors on my directory --just few. I got it from my awastats. But the important thing for me is 25% of my visitors are organic. Even I don't know how they come from which keyword --because I never optimise my directories. Because --I have always maintained that --the objective of a directory should be not to rank high itself --but should help its websites to rank really high. From my stats --I can see that --many people have visited me searchign for other sites

I urge to all --not only to claim --but post proofs as well like I did. UNIQUE -does not mean --total number of visitors.

 

Yes in general free directories have much more visitors than paid but it is impossible to tell how many of those are just auto submitters.

mmatchev the yellow column is visits not uniques, you can usually cut the number in half (or almost).

( I might know -because I have 10 hidden blogs with good contents and some of them rank really high)

The directory is still too new to properly rank on search engines, even though it has so many backlinks. So in several months it could be that much

 

I think your stats may be really correct

as My page data shows

around 255,000 for alive directory

PD=255,000


If we divide PD by six we may get probable no of visitors


No of visitors =255,000/6
~40,000 (I think this may be the page views )

PD may really indicate page views for the site!!!


Chris, I think none could beat you in directory market as your are way ahead of others!!!!



I will also calculate PD for bigweblinks and let us compare that also
