Hey, Well, I have setup Directory-Owners.com a few weeks a go now and it has started to become quite active. But I would like the input of other members. I have started to buy links in high ranking directories and am looking to buy ad space(any suggestions?) On the forum we have got over 900 posts and 80+ members and these are all unique members with none of them being from paid posting services etc which I am quite proud about. Promoting have never been one of my strongest points so any input on how to promte it further would help Thanks Dan
Buy advertising on high traffic directories. Directories are in the webmaster space so using Alexa ranking would be a good indicator.
Try to buy ad space on "Directories Lists Sites" , "Directory of Directories" , Also, buying ads in Email Signatures of other directories (e.g. site addition email, site confirmation etc.) I also joined your forum for directory owners, will keep posting there soon
