I have several sites that need to be submitted to directories and started creating a list of potential sites to submit to. I then created a database to keep potential directories in and track my submissions. I kept adding features to it and decided to make it available to others. Some of those features: periodically disables sites that go offline periodically refreshes page-rank and alexa info group and sort sites by page-rank or alexa score add/remove sites to your personal favorites list create submission profiles and track submissions/dates export any of the lists to excel for working with offline easily import/add new directories to your favorites list display directories with thumbnails submission status reports The site has over 3,000 directories, most of which are free. The list may get much larger, but I hope to see this site as a tool to quickly find those 1000 or so actively growing quality directories. The thought was that I could further rank/group directories as more people added directories to their favorites and started scoring them for price/response time. The submission tracking is for manual directory submission, with being able to create multiple working profiles for how you might submit the same site to different directories. Well, as things go, I spent more time creating the capabilities than I did actual directory submissions, so there may still be some kinks to iron out.
