Directory Maximizer?

I stumbled across directory maximizer...has anyone used it before? I have a new site and thought one way to kick off it off would be adding to a lot of directories. I was wondering though if mass adding to directories would hurt my website?

I plan on link building too but thought this could be an effective way to just build a lot of links (even if some are lot quality) from the start.

    Any thoughts?

Haven't used it but I would suggest building your backlinks slow and consitently.

I thought directory maximizer must be doing well. I remember they had bought one of the most popular directory list (directory critic).

Mass directory submissions won't hurt your website. But you should also try other link building methods.

I would be careful with any mass/automated submission - do you really think it looks "natural" to google to go from 0 links to hundreds over night?

Why? What's wrong with that? If I create a NEW website and advertise that on TV / Radio.. I am bound to get 100s/1000s of links in a day.

    Hi There !!! :)

You by yourself can submit website to directories . Although its time taking but according to me its good and useful . So where to start ??? where to get directories list for submission??? how ??? all these question are answered below

    1. First of all download FireFox...
    2. Then install google toolbars..
    3. Then install a very important addons called FIREFORM for automatically website submission to directory.
    how to use fireform??
when you first install this addons on FireFox restart firefox. Then after its starts you will see a little fireform icon on the bottom right side of the browser. Right click on it then click on advance setup. A new window will open create new profile there and click on clear all field. now close that window. Go to any directory or my signature directory and fill submission form by hand , When you fill all required field again right click on fireform icon on bottom right side of the browser and select Learn Form Field a new window will open just click on ok and you are ready to go. So whenever next time you submit website to directory and see a form just left click on fireform it will automatically add website field for you and in some cases if something missing you can again learn that field for future.
    4. Now where to get directories use this forum or use search engine and search these keyword below
    "list of fast approval directories"
"list of free pr4 directories" or any pr you like
    "list of links directories"

Another way to get directories list is directorycritic dot com go there you will find thousands of directories sorted by pr added date and a lot of in formations.

Well i hope all my steps above will help you

    I have a short advice ...

Directory submission is work slowly and take months and years. The fastest way to takeover your competitors is find similar website as of yours and request a link exchange with them its 100 Time better then a directory.

And how to find such competitors read my article Below :)

    Cheers!!!

It has been a while since I used them. They allow you to select the number of submissions and charge on a per submit basis. So I did not order a specific package. I just ran several hundred through for a few sites to see how it went. I just looked at their prices and it seems now they charge $.14 per submit, but it seems to me it was less when I did it.

One thing about Dir Maximizer is that if you have done previous submissions to directories you need to upload a file so they don't resubmit to the same directories. If your already listed in a directory they try to submit you to it still counts as one so you would have wasted a submission...

I have no complaints with the service as they delivered what they said they would do.

When it comes down to me actually referring a submission service which I have used it would be Best Web Directories. They are very professional and responsive. They were always friendly and personal with their service. I believe they are also from India but I really don't care as long as the service is quality and they deliver as promised. ;)

I know Mikey has one also but I have not used it yet so I cannot comment on it too much. Other than it being Mikey I would expect it to be good.

I've used directory maximizer before, and had a pretty good experience.

I placed an order the other day (er, actually a couple of weeks ago now, I think) and have yet to get them to respond. I pinged them with a message a couple of days ago and have yet to get them to respond.

BTW, one benefit of using PayPal... (and I know this as a merchant)... I paid via PayPal and PayPal will make it really easy for me to get my money back.

I am also from India and providing SEO and Link building services.

According me many clients tell me that i want to check your service first and thats why he order for limited directories (like 50 or 100 only) also with Good PR, and he also wait for email confirmation from all directories.

But he dont know, In case of hight PR directories approval time can be long up to 3 months.

All directories does not send you confirmation emails.

With directory submission approval or rejection completely depend on directory editor and submission optimization.

Submission optimization mean your details as title descriptions are suitable or not according your site and keywords.

Provider will submit your details only to most suitable categories.

You will get about 50 to 60% response sure (can be up to 70 to 80% some times) if every things is fine there with submission.

Does not mean provider from INDIA, USA or UK.

    Thanks
    Rsseosolution :)

Thanks Kunal David. I'm glad you guys are up and running. As I said in my first post, I have used you guys a couple of times before... and I've been quite happy.

This is so obvious now, but for my part, it would have been great to maybe have info at web site identifying that offices are closed, etc.

True confession: For my little web sites that sell ebooks, we close the offices the last week of the year because of the Christmas holidays... so we also stumble at providing certain types of customer service (like refunds) at that time of year.

P.S. I just checked and the orders I placed wit Directory Maximizer are now being worked on... (they have a report where you can monitor their progess...)

Yes, of course.. How many links did 'cuil' get the day they announced their search engines? It was not just traffic.

Regarding directory submissions.. one can do 1000s of submissions in a short time without any issues because directories will take a lot of time to approve the links and SEs will take even more time to index/re-index directory pages.

BTW, if I have 1000s of posts on a forum and I put a link in my SIG my site gets a thousand links (though only from one domain) in a day.
