Directory List

I Just started using a software that list directories along with PR etc. (my first time submitting to directories) I new some were paid and some not but I did not know some required a link back to them. I have two problems: Is there a place to obtain a list that do not require a link or paid submission? I started searching manually and signing up and this is a very long process to find only a few that fit the above criteria. Second problem is where can I put so many backlinks? I have only one site, but promote affiliate sites that I cannot add links to. I have blogs but I am not sure I should load them up with links.
Can anybody provide any information about the two questions?

Check out the free directory list in my sig. They don't require a reciprocal. You can use the search to narrow the list by niche, PR, traffic, etc.

Here all 10k directories are free or combination of free and paid.

I dont think all 10k would be free.

Any way it can be very helpful for link builder.
