Directory Links

Ok, I have been reading around. From what I can tell the directories can really increase you BL's and help you. So I figure I will submit one of my sites in an effort to get things going.

Now for my question. I want to submit the florist website I am working with (McAdamsFloral.com). When I am filling out the directories do I use the actual website title for the link text or whatever I am trying to optimize for. For example if I was submitting to a directory, in the website title/link text field would I want to put "McAdams Floral" (actual website title) or would I want to put "Victoria Texas Florist" (the kw I am targeting)?

My past directory entries have been using the title of the page but they have not been yielding any results. When I was listing my other site, freestuffisgood.com, I would just enter "Free Stuff is Good" (the title of the page) instead of "Free iPods", "Free iPod guide", or any of my other keywords. This hasn't really helped me out any.

So do I be honest and use the site title or do a lie and use one of my targeting phrases?

    Thanks

    There's no lying to it.

Use the terms you want to use - that's the whole point - else the directory would just lift the title from your homepage automatically, and not give you the option in the first place. :)

    Cheers,
