Directory level structure is good or bad?

If I am making the structure then following the rule of directory level structure will be good for me or not?

Suppose if I am following directory level structure and it is going too long, then please suggest me that shortening the Url is good or not?

Also suggest me that http://www.abc.com/india-accommodation/hostel.html is better or http://www.abc.com/india/hostel.html ?

Please help me.....

 

either of the above would work well. Having a clear structure is important but it's more important how you promote you site. Many blogs use the full title of the article as their structure and don't get penalised for it.

do the following:
1)place keywords inside URL structure
2)try to place them more to the left. eg:

www.site.com/home-porn/young-girls

PHP:

wll be higher in Google TOP with the key "home porn" and using structure
AND:

www.site.com/young-girls/home-porn

PHP:

will be higher with the key "young girls"

saw this tip work in practice.

 

both are good, the first has two keywords

yeah, the former the higher. and imo, the number of keywords should not two long.

 

Right, all above 2 paths would be working just fine. But keep from generating extra long paths only for keyword purposes. IMO.

 

I thing the directory structure is better.
