I am running a directory site now and want to get more pr and more trafic~
I call my idea:

Directory Joint Venture!

the same with others, we help each other to promote our directory sites! We all directory sites owners in DP can added our directory sites in your detail email, or on your thankyou page for each other!

the sample:
I submit a site to your directory, after this action, I was redirected to your thankyou page and received email from your site, theire are other Joint Venturer's sites on this page or this email, some like:

Submitted and waiting for approval!
you can also submit your site to our partener:

I think this will benefit all you guys who run only one or two directory sites~

But their should some widely known people in this forum operate this idea~ have many times and many experiences to organize this ring! Cos I'm not familiar with this

so if anyone want to run this, please let me know and count me in

 

Good luck!!! I asked this question before and there was not much interest.

 

A good idea in thoery, but a list i would never add to as i would rather select the directory ( s ) that i liked to submitt to and ask for submission.

Blindly adding to all directories and returning the favour would commit me to listing sites i saw no value in, thus in a sense devaluing my site. I have no desire to ask my customers ( the end user ) to wade through 50 listings to find the one or 2 good ones, it wastes their time and mine.

 

No harm in trying it. Lets see if it will work.
