MS? I think it will provide an asp.net 2.0 hosting... it's great. but there isn't a directory script can run there.

haha... you probably can only use their site builder on that free hosting by MS... good luck with them. You will come back running after sometime and post here about your sufferings... ;)

If you want a paid hosting suggestion, I'd recommend hostgator.
Check for reviews by DP users in my sig.

Hosting package will depend upon which script you want to install and what are the requirement of that directory script

Quite right... They say you cannot use "Business Applications" or "HTML Design Tools".

That pretty much says it all :p

Check out the forums here. Check out the names of the hosts most people seem to use and like (such as HostGator, LunarPages, DreamHost, 1and1, etc...). These are some of the bigger and more reliable hosts. Be sure you don't go with a small, no-name host that is offering some dirt-cheap service! Bad things happen. ;)

Some companies like resellerzoom and polurnet offer cheap (yet reputable custom support) reseller plans. Ideal for playing around your new directory before you become more serious about it.
