    Hey guys,

I rescently bought PHPLD latest version,

Was just wondering if there is a category dump? I know it's not that good for SEO but i plan on changing a few things, i just don't have the time to add countless number of sections and sub sections.

I think i will also be a bit clueless as to how to add it, so any help is MUCH appreciated.

    Thanks all

You can find category dump at phplinkdirectory forums itself so try and search there.

BTW i suggest you to add all categories manually. Its good for you.

the .sql pack for 3.1 is working fine on 3.2 too... and it should work on 3.3 as well.

I agree to add them manually too, the time saved now isn't worth it for the time you may have to spend in the future.

    But good luck anyway Proxynow

I would also keep away from the category dumps as they mostly contain way too many categories which you wont be able to populate

I find they often have as you point out too many that dont get used, and the obvious ones are missing.

Ill tell you another bad thing with category dumps which I never see mentioned
if you look at a lot of cat dumps they will have categories where symbolic categories should be so you end up with two (or more) categories of the same name throughout the directory

Depending on what controlpanel you are using, do you have PhpMyAdmin in your controlpanel?

    Hey guys,

I've followed all these steps using PHPmyADMIN, they all seem to be installed, however none of the URL structure is working, perhaps i have to turn of mod rewrite for SEO or something?

the URL for directory is http:// webdirectoryaustralia.com.au/ (i'm not putting a direct link cause i don't want it to be indexed)
