Directory Critic Hits 1000+ Listings

Hello guys n girls...

I've got a few things to announce here tonight.

Directory Critic's now lists over 1000 seo friendly directories! (1017 listed right now)

Managing such a huge list was taking up so much time, so I've now got a few other webmasters helping me out (you may have noticed I'm not posting here as much lately). Manish from Inetzeal is using the free list for his submission services. He is helping me gather new directories and keep this list up-to-date. Leon, a local webmaster friend of mine, if helping me review, sort and add directories. So with this new help on board...

We've added over 100 new directories this week

Now I've got a bit of help around the place, you can expect the lists to be growing rapidly. Word is starting to get around and submissions are up. As well as that, with the new help, we reach more forums and webmaster sites to grab any recently announced directories.

And finally...

The lists are more up-to-date than ever before

This was the hardest part for me running a directory list. There were so many changes taking place that I wouldn't know about until I went to use the particular directory for my new sites. This has all changed now. The free list is being used daily by Manish from Inetzeal and any changes, directory problems, switch from free to paid, submission stoppages are reported to me and I will make the necessary changes. This means less offline directories and (hopefully) no more of those times when you browse the directory thinking it's free and you get to the submit page and it's paid - very annoying!

Just quickly a few more things:
- Soon well will have banners, buttons, rate buttons and seo friendly buttons available
- We'll be launching a webmaster dir soon
- Still a few advertising slots open

I never knew there were that many directories around...I also submitted mine in there

I am all time fan your directory resource because it updates everyday... so i thought if i can help you to make your resources better.
I Recommend every webmaster to use this list to submit their website. if you depends upon Directorycritic than you never need to move here and there for searching new directory.
Around 20-25 directories are removed last weeks and list is now Up-to-date as Masetek said...

It's an interesting signature. Considering that the site wouldn't exist without the pioneers that have gone before. I can't seem to find my link on that site, wonder why...
