That's the same tool I use when checking rankings on the data centers. They should all have the same results in a few hours.

 

Romow was number one for quite some time. Let's see what he got.

I should have put more effort into my link building, I did get off to a late start as my directory was not even up when the contest 1st started, there is a definite pattern there and it is interesting to see, obviously the quality of the links comes into it but a big part of it is about numbers.

Probably you are not excluding internal links, "-site:ask-dir.com"

 

drop from 8th place lol, but if i have found the way to make it display the description and title too early i have made it to the top lol

 

Lateron today I will give you guys the first 3 pages of Google results as I see them on my end, and then everyone will have a chance to let me know what they believe other sites have done to violate the rules.

Crap, this is going to be a day of drama.

F**** - My site was on the 3rd page till tomorrow and since 15 days ( i checked daily)... Damm I see it nowhere today ... Shit, F###

 

I haven´t even been looking at the results lately, I will just go on at 10 AM and take it from there. heh

 

I do not think that much will change between now and the next hour and 36 min. But you never know.

Just wanted to say congratulations to ! Ask !, my preliminary results show that his directory has taken the 1st prize, I am glad that a real directory has taken the number one spot rather than one created purely for entering the competition.

I know Mike still has to go through and eliminate all of the rule breaking entries, but I am confident that ask-dir.com is a legit entry.

Anyway, well done!

I finished a shameful 392nd, but this has prompted me to work more on my directories and start building up some better incoming links. So if this contest runs again, I will be back!

 

PS: Forgot to mention, my blog managed to get up to 58th position, which isn't bad for a brand new site that was only launched Jan 1st.

 

Can't we go off Google.co.uk I'm in 2nd place on that!
