I just want to see for myself that if I had directorycontest.com in my title would index-it.net be powerful enough to win that's all. And congrats to ask-dir.com for taking the number one spot.
That is the problem I have been stating from day one of this contest, different datacenters, different results. For transparency and to avoid confusion, a datacenter must be chose, or a average between several datacenters should be used to assign the winners. Only my 2 cents. LOLOLOL, but sometimes is difficult for people to understand some jargon.
Well done ask on the top spot, I will be happy with a top 3 spot, 1 or 2 dances to go yet, got a few more links that should kick in, fingers crossed I will get it!
3 days to go, Stuffdaily have just knocked me down a peg the gits, fat bloke aint singing yet though!
Blogmaster, are you going to give us an updated prize list before the end of the competition, we keep asking and you keep saying soon....
Some nice statistics about the first 5 contestants: Number o links to the contest page using yahoo Gii.in – 20,700 Ask – 13,800 Ewebpages – 21,200 Links Arena – category page 437 detail page 1,280 Index-it – 17,400 Interesting, a big number of links is not all you need to rank high …
You should list your links pointing to the category page with the contest anchor text like you have for LinksArena
Don’t know how many with the right anchor, the total is 3,490 That is the interesting part Link Arena got the category page, rated higher than the detail page, and probably the +-437 links of Arena most of then don’t have the right anchor text.
