Directories work or not in SEO today

Do you believe tha direcotories are a good tools to improve the ranking our sites?, because I tried it last year for apartamentos en zahara de los atunes, and the the goal was very poor. What way we must take new 2016?

Overall, I think directories are out of date. I think your directory should be high quality,
and it should be focused just on one niche, then it may provide some benefit, truth be
told, there are a lot of quality link builders out there, why focus on just directories?

Directory Submissions are still effective to rank your website high in the search engines. I have tried it several times and it really ranked the website to the top place in search engine.. if the Directory Submission have high PR that'd be wonderful then..

 

Directories are an excellent way of pushing your site up the rankings.. All depending on the quality of the link, follow or no follow? High Da? So lets say 192.com for example would be an excellent directory great resource, high domain authority and they also provide you with a powerful follow link!

Yes, I am totally agreed with you directory submissions is not effective.Now google need Quality backlinks not Quantity.only HPR DS are usefull.

 

Directories don't work as well anymore. Content should be on your sites..

It works, but you should get listed in high quality directories, because there are many low quality directories now that Google will consider spammy!

 

I remember that there was a time were no-follow better and directory owners went with it.

 

If you really want the best directory , you need to very picky. Before submit its wise if you cross checking their reputation i guess. Maybe for some of you web directory not works.
