Directories with very fast approval

I always try my best to review submissions for my forum directory within 24 hours.

What are some other free, no-recip directories with very fast approval times? Here's one that I just stumbled across and got 4 sites approved within an hour.

Link me up with some more near instant gratification directories. Which directory sites approve F-A-S-T? By fast I mean within 24 hours.

 

Not being unfair on the directory that let you in within 24 hours but look at how many links they Haven't got! Anyone starting up a directory can review a site within a very short time until they start getting shed loads of submissions and the more you get the longer the queue. With The Orange Pages it was the same, now they pay a small army of staff to review and I know they take a few weeks, and this is QUICK for a directory. TOP has over 1.5 million reviewed sites in their directory and even then the directory is bare. They do at least promise to build a category on the fly if you are polite enough to ask them and if the topic you wanna go in is a good one.

Thus the moral of the story is that the quicker the approval the more chance the directory is either tiny or they don't review the sites and simply let you put your site in anywhere. We would urge you to go for quality rather than speed and wait for a few weeks, this is worth it in the long run as you get more qualified traffic.

Yes! There are TWO reasons, It is for confirmation if they face allegations of spamming when they send autoresponses'. These guys have been going for a good few years and have been moaned at for sending out autoresponse to people who claim never to have submitted. The phone numbters are just another measure that was necessary to put in place to stop prats who think posting other peoples sites for the sake of being a nuisance is funny. Randomly TOP will contact a phone number to see if it authentic or check via whois. The phone numbers are NEVER used for any other reason 100%certain, they are simply a safeguard for the honest submittor. Hope that helps.

I know this thread is fairly old but I wanted to let you know that asking for phone numbers and other security measures really does weed out the spammers, and more-so now that some clever dick has produced a script that makes submitting to directories superfast by using some kind of form designed for the task. The only downfall I see from adding security measures which sometimes even means charging a small fee to put spammers off is that you lose the so-called SEO friendly tag afforded to you by some forums who think it is the world's divine right to have ALL directories free regardless of the cost to the directory owner who may have spent a small fortune on the script, and or reviewing, hosting etc.

IMHO I would rather see a directory with security in place and less links but higher quality content than the zillions of wannabe directories that are out there simply to sell links for pagerank to make a quick buck! One difference, TOP will be there for a long time, what's the bet that the wannabe's won't. As soon as the owners leave college or get bored and or married they will let their directories die! Seen it all before I'm afraid!

 

Charge a small fee is the best $1 is enough to get rid of spanners.
You can even make it refundable after site is approved.
