Directories Submission Is Beneficial Or Not ...??

Could anybody please tell me that Submitting directories for any website is still beneficial or not ..??

Yes it is still beneficial but it needs more quality rather thank quantity. You should submit to directories with maximum unique descriptions and titles and also you should slow and steady submission rather than submission of bulk directories in a day or two. Yes it is beneficial but you should not submit on too many websites you should make the submission an good PR websites only and should make limited amount of submissions only.

 

The benefits to directory submission can be as good as your overall linking strategy is. In other words, like any other form of promotion, marketing or advertising there are multiple avenues of promotion that are required in order to bring about awareness. Will submitting your site in one directory make your site jump to the front page and first result in Google, boost your PR to 8 or higher, bring in 10s of thousands of leads and sales? Certainly not. But will placing your web site address on one obscure billboard in the middle of nowhere generate the same? Of course... You need to use multiple billboards, multiple forms of media and other promotion to accomplish this. The same holds true for directories or any other form of online promotion and or advertising.
