It will be a very long page if you only get a few If you get plenty it will be very long If you get 90% you will be entering for years
Nice one Britishguy , I am using page iteration and I can choose to display them as sets of 10,100, etc. They will be sorted according to reviews: the best ones( with five stars) on the top in the first page - the rest at the end of page iterations How many 'listable' web dir are online, right now, do your reckon?2000?3000? The other day I was browsing through the service section of DP. I don't remember properly if it was Amit or Mr. Kumar who were offering Directory submission service to 5K directories. And to one member's question the service offerer replied that he had 20K ( only free) directories in his list. Soo-- I go with britishguy--it will take long time and them page will be --well endless with hundreds directories coming up each month! Anyway--nice nocept. Best of luck.
As long as there are free scripts and free templates you will never be able to keep up. Directories seem to be the latest band wagon on the internet. But good luck and best Wishes
I am sure there are thousands of dirs online, but not all of them are worth listing. Some of them accept any link just to get a backlink and they end up some kind of bad link farm that can harm web sites more than boost their SERP or rank. My main aim is to sift the quality dirs from the "just-another-dmoz" ones and by the time all of them get reviewed, users will be able to know where to submit their URL directorycritic is a good concept for rating , but some of the most rated can be boosted by sudden frenzy of rating by friends and those who had their links accepted Users submit their reviews and activate them from their email box, so unless you choose to create many emails to submit many reviews -which is not worth the hassle.
