Dear all buddies! I got some directories owner who don't care their directories. Whether they approve a link or not that is their own choice but at least they should confirm whether their submission page is working or not. For example see it, link is FREE but asking for Reciprocal. I've noticed that this type of problem generally seen on that sites where using free directory script. This is just a waste of time and nothing.
Maybe that directory owner is trying to select from all the mass submissions that he receives only that quality websites that he likes. I see that the last approved site was yesterday so this is a sign that he is currently maintaining that directory. Anyway, i think that he didnt saw the problem with reciprocal link for free listing method and he forget to remove that. Contact him and explain it to him, i see that he has a contact page
Any directory script (free or not) needs to be adjusted. Also, some directory scripts lack of many basic features like show openly available submission types (with or without register required) and show last updates to give us a cue about the directory's activity. Pitifully, given that anybody can easily install a directory script, find things like that isn't rare. Try to report the problem directly to the directory owner. As reliable directory owners must deal with spammers, reliable submitters must deal with problems like that. (Fill a submission form, or a register form, and then be notified about additional requirements is a bit annoying)
There are a huge number of directories and some of them look a bit neglected. Some people don't finish editing the templates to remove - "Put your rules here" type of messages. I also find quite a few with bugs in the script. Any like this I don't submit too as I assume the submissions will never get approved.
Just go through any directory list, and you will find around 30% of the directories are not maitained. That's normal that some directories are not cared.
And around 95 % are using the same script and templates I agree that it's a good script, but directory owners, please, change at least one color or one small angle ....
