    No redirects there with the listings. Though when a user search for something within the directory, the listings come out in search results those are using redirects.

    Actually i am using Dew-NewPHPLinks script. I had to amend the code to make the listings using Direct (True) URLs

    Does it seem that the number of directories has increased a lot faster in the past six months? Over the past two years it seemed that things were slowing down, but now seems to be undergoing rabid growth!

    The amount of directories has increased drastically. The percentage of good ones has descreased. So has the quality of directories of directories. Very few are good and useful as submission guidelines such as Aviva's list.
