    Can Anyone tell me in online universe how many Link directories are there? I have a set of 5000 Directories; does any one has more ?

    You can check web-directories.ws as it boasts about 20,000+ directories in their list.

    There are hundreds of thousands. PHPLD only has provided scripts for over 100,000 directories. Directory critic has over 22,000 on their list. Web-dir has over 20K and BSD has over 20K. Many cross path each other in these list.

    Why in the world you need all of them? Are you taking any census report? ;)

    Anyways most of the directories out there are junk. Almost 95% web directories that are there in the universe are junk, spamy links with BS content.

    Your criteria for what constitutes a directory is important. Does it need to be a standalone directory or can it be a section of a larger website?
    If you want the list to submit to then do they have to be non-dropped etc? are subdomains ok?

    I agree there are thousands but if you are looking for the information just out of curiousity then web-directories.ws will do it.
