Directories I already submitted to

Is there a way to find out which ones already list a site of mine, since I did some submissions a while ago and I obviously don't remember.

 

You can use backlink checking tools like www.backlinkwatch.com www.linkvendor.net

 

http://www.directorychecker.com/ might work if you submitted to the 800+ in the list

It's always a good idea to keep a list of the sites you submit to for this very reason. I use a spreadsheet. I know it's too late for that but I would start one with any new submissions you do.

While more time consuming than the other suggestions, if you are mainly looking to avoid duplicate submissions, you could use the search function on each directory to see if your site is listed.

 

Yeah, my pc crashed and I haven't found a way to retrieve the info in an affordable way.

I did have a spreadsheet.

I think that looking up the incoming links is a good suggestion, hopefully most will be listed.

Use google webmaster tool it can help you out.

I know that DigiXmas submitter has a feature in it that allows you to check what directories your site is already indexed in, (DigiXmas has 1400+ Directories ).. and our submitter has a feature much the same... but we have 2700+ directories in the software...

You can also export a report so you know what directories your site is in.. help useful..
